This solution WORKS!! check over here Pulled power cord. Left it open until it went side to side a couple of times then closed the cover before open cover error came up. One of the ink cartridges was dry and a sheet of paper was jammed in the printer right before the error. Here are some steps:1.) Turn off your Canon Printer2.) Press on the ‘Resume’ option, once you hold the power button.3.) Repeat this process four to five time to modify the counter Dried ink clogs sounded like the most logical to me. I took a chance and ordered a new print head off eBay for about $56 and sure enough this fixed my problem. Turn ON power4.
