I packed it in padding and placed it in a hardside suitcase and brought it with me to Uruguay whereupon turning it on I am now at the point described above. It physically wont move. In case the printer is exposed to dust, clean the sliding section of the purge unit and apply some grease on it.

A CAVEMAN CAN DO IT!

I cannot locate the cable that plugs into the motor.any help would be good. Do I need to reach in there and use a flashlight to find this purge thing somewhere all the way to the right? I have a Canon Pixma iP5000. Gerry.
